– LOGISALL Consulting designs roadmap through medical logistics optimization project
– Korea Container Pool (KCP) takes charge of operations and inventory management
– LOGISALL Systems maximizes efficiency with a customized logistics system
On July 1, LOGISALL Group and digital dental implant leader DIO officially opened the “DIO Implant Dongtan Logistics Center,” a dedicated facility for medical device logistics, at the International Integrated Logistics Complex in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province.
The new center spans 2,479.34㎡ across a multi-story structure with mezzanine floors. It was designed and launched as part of a joint consulting project led by LOGISALL Consulting, which focused on optimizing the location and operations of DIO’s new logistics hub. Korea Container Pool(KCP), already active in pharmaceutical logistics, will oversee daily operations including inventory management.
The facility is powered by WINUS(Warehouse Information Network Ubiquitous System), LOGISALL Systems’ proprietary warehouse management solution. The system enables precise inventory control and outbound tracking tailored specifically for medical devices. It supports full traceability using product serial numbers(LOT) and ensures accurate, efficient management through FIFO(first-in, first-out) processes aligned with client requirements.
With this new center, DIO expands beyond its existing logistics base in Busan, strengthening inventory control and optimizing delivery routes in the Seoul metropolitan area. This move also supports enhanced customer service through faster and more reliable logistics operations.
Executives from both companies attended the opening ceremony, including DIO CEO Kim Jong-won and LOGISALL Consulting CEO Park Jung-hoon.
“Incorporating LOGISALL’s CES(Consulting, Engineering, Systems) framework, we’ve developed packaging and inventory strategies tailored to the physical properties of medical devices,” said CEO Park. “This enables safe distribution and long-term logistics efficiency, and we’ll continue to support clients with cost-effective, sustainable logistics solutions backed by our expert consulting teams.”
A DIO representative added, “The launch of our Dongtan logistics center is more than a relocation—it marks a foundational transformation in our logistics infrastructure and a major step in boosting global competitiveness. Through comprehensive innovation, including the adoption of WMS, we expect to reduce logistics costs and achieve meaningful gains in productivity and customer satisfaction.” They further emphasized DIO’s goal of becoming a global leader in dental solutions, with an expanding export network reaching over 70 countries worldwide.
