Korea Logistics Pool (KLP), an affiliate of LOGISALL Group, has completed the construction of the next-generation smart fulfillment hub, the LOGISALL Icheon Logistics Center, in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do, and held its official opening ceremony on the 3rd.
The ceremony welcomed over 150 guests, including clients, partners, academics, officials from related institutions, and LOGISALL employees. Attendees toured the center’s construction process and observed live demonstrations of its operations, experiencing firsthand LOGISALL’s advanced automated logistics model designed to promote collaborative logistics and its vision for a sustainable future in the industry.
The Icheon Logistics Center is a state-of-the-art facility with a total floor area of 41,619㎡ and a site area of 25,727㎡. It features a cold chain center with an integrated energy management system on the basement floor, and a robot-based smart fulfillment center on the first floor. The second and third floors serve as advanced ambient logistics zones, going beyond simple storage to offer inventory optimization and order processing functions. With its comprehensive design that seamlessly integrates large-vehicle accessibility and inter-floor logistics flow, the center maximizes both efficiency and processing capacity, enabling true one-stop handling across all temperature zones.
Strategically located within a five-minute drive from both the Deokpyeong Interchange (Yeongdong Expressway) and the Docheok Interchange (2nd Capital Region Circular Expressway), the center provides optimal accessibility to the metropolitan area’s major logistics corridors, ensuring fast and efficient nationwide distribution.
Built on the expertise and SI (System Integration) capabilities of LOGISALL’s smart logistics convergence alliance, CES (Consulting, Engineering, Systems), the Icheon center represents next-generation logistics infrastructure. The ground floor is equipped with high-efficiency, high-precision automation systems, incorporating advanced logistics robotics such as LOGISALL’s proprietary brand LOGIQ, featuring AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) and AGFs (Automated Guided Forklifts). This allows for the realization of an innovative, fully automated logistics environment.
The center also utilizes the Q-DAS (Free Flow DAS)-based Full Picking and Mega Picking systems, enabling fast and accurate processing of large-volume orders. Automated packaging and intelligent sorting systems further enhance the entire workflow—from picking and packing to outbound shipping—boosting speed and accuracy. A compact layout design maximizes space utilization and workforce efficiency, while a mapping-based automated tracking system provides real-time visibility and control of every process, ensuring operational reliability.
The cold chain center located on the basement floor incorporates the C-TES (Comprehensive Thermal Energy System), developed as part of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy’s national project led by the Korea Conformity Laboratories (KCL). This achievement has resulted in one of the world’s most energy-efficient smart cold chain logistics facilities, setting a new benchmark both domestically and globally.
With the opening of the Icheon Logistics Center, LOGISALL aims to further strengthen its advanced logistics service capabilities and accelerate the transition to future-oriented smart logistics systems.
